Social Account Connections and LINE Notifications
Connect Threads, Instagram and Facebook, add another account, and set up FireArc notifications in LINE.
Connect a social account through the platform’s authorization website.
The social connections page has separate sections for Connected Accounts and Connected Notification Channels. One authorizes ViralArc to use your social accounts; the other delivers LINE notifications. Completing one does not complete the other.
Before connecting, sign in to the intended social account in your browser. When adding a second account, switch the platform login first, as described below, before starting authorization from ViralArc.
Connect your first account
- Open social connections from the sidebar and choose Add Account under Connected Accounts.
- Select Threads, Instagram or Facebook. If X is offered on your screen, you can follow its authorization flow too.
- On the platform’s official authorization page, check the signed-in account and review the requested access. Enter your password only on that platform’s official login page.
- Return to ViralArc after authorization. If Facebook displays a Page selection screen, check which Pages are selected before completing the connection.
- Check the account name, platform and connection status in the list. Select that account when working with its posts or topic tracking.
Follow the connection screen’s checklist: Instagram and Threads accounts should be public; Instagram should be a professional account. Facebook connects Pages you are authorized to manage, not your personal timeline.
Account limits and some platform features depend on your plan. If you reach the account limit, review existing accounts or your plan. Successful platform authorization does not unlock every automation feature.
Switch the platform login before adding a second account
Authorization usually reuses the social account signed in to your browser. If you connect account A and immediately choose Add Account again, you may authorize A again.
- Keep ViralArc open and visit the platform website in the same browser, such as instagram.com, threads.com or facebook.com.
- Sign out of A and sign in to the intended account B, or use the website’s account switcher if available.
- Check the name on the platform website to confirm it is B. For Facebook, use a login that can manage the intended Page.
- Return to ViralArc and only now choose Add Account to start a new authorization flow.
- Check the account name both on the authorization screen and after returning to ViralArc.
Switching ViralArc’s account selector does not switch your login on Instagram, Threads or Facebook. Switching accounts only in the mobile app also may not change the browser login. Check the identity shown on the authorization page.
If it keeps selecting A, use another browser or a separate browser profile. Sign in to ViralArc and platform account B there, then start the connection. You do not need to disconnect A from ViralArc to add B.
If mobile opens the app, shows a blank page or fails
Mobile devices may open Meta links directly in the Instagram, Threads or Facebook app. The app may not support the particular third-party authorization flow, leaving a blank page, an error or no return to ViralArc. If this happens, complete authorization on the platform’s website.
- Open ViralArc in a full browser such as Safari or Chrome, rather than starting inside LINE, Instagram or another app’s built-in browser.
- Sign in to the correct platform account in that same browser.
- Restart the connection in ViralArc. If Copy Link is available, paste the link into the browser’s address bar, rather than a search field or a message that you then tap.
- If offered a choice to open the app, stay in the browser. For Threads on Android, follow the on-screen copy-link instructions.
- If the app still takes over or authorization fails, try a desktop browser.
Use Open Authorization Page if automatic navigation does not happen. If authorization has already failed or the link has expired, restart from ViralArc instead of repeatedly opening the old URL. Do not share authorization URLs or LINE connection codes publicly.
Reconnect or disconnect
An account appearing in the list does not mean its authorization remains valid. If it shows expired access, a failed connection or missing permissions, use Reconnect for that account. First confirm the platform website is signed in to the same account, then complete authorization. Refreshing the page reloads status; it does not renew authorization.
If the connection still fails, resolve any security checks or account restrictions on the platform, then check the account type, Page access and requested permissions. A connection error alone does not mean you need a plan upgrade.
You can disconnect an account you no longer use. Check the topic tracking, scheduled work and automation that depend on it first. If your goal is to pause work, pause the relevant project. Disconnecting from ViralArc does not delete your social account.
Connect LINE notifications
LINE notifications require plan support. If Connected Notification Channels shows an upgrade prompt, check your current feature access.
- Choose Add Channel under Connected Notification Channels and select LINE.
- Scan the QR code or use the LINE Add Friend button to add FireArc.
- Return to the connection dialog, choose Next, and copy the code generated by ViralArc.
- Open your LINE conversation with FireArc and paste and send the code. Copying it, adding the bot or leaving it in the message box is not enough.
- Return to ViralArc and choose the completion button. Confirm LINE appears in the channel list with a connected status.
The completion button reloads channel status; it does not send the code for you. If the channel is absent, check that you sent the message to the correct FireArc account, then refresh. If a LINE channel is already connected, the add option is marked as already existing.
Choose a language and enable topic-tracking notifications
Use the language selector on the LINE row. The current choices are Chinese, English and Japanese. Thai and Vietnamese support articles do not mean LINE notifications are available in those languages.
For topic-tracking notifications, also open the project settings, enable automation and LINE integration, and select the result or fully matching-post notifications you want. No-comment mode cannot enable Send tracking results. Connecting LINE does not turn on notifications for every project, and there may not be qualifying results every day.
If nothing arrives, check that LINE is still connected, FireArc is not blocked, device notifications are enabled, and the project is active with qualifying results and the relevant notification options. No notification does not by itself mean topic tracking did not run.
To stop using LINE notifications, delete the connection from its channel row. Social account connections and project settings are managed separately. For continuing problems, give support the platform, account name, time, browser and error screenshot. Do not include passwords, verification codes or full authorization URLs.
