Create and Organize Lead Lists
Create lists, add leads, organize statuses and notes, and understand imports, public sharing and CSV downloads.
Create and organize lead lists.
Lead lists keep accounts you want to follow up with in one place. Separate them by activity or purpose, such as “Product Launch Leads” and “Course Enquiries,” then record each lead’s status and follow-up notes.
Create a list
- Open Lead List and choose New list.
- Enter a name, add a description if useful, and choose an emoji.
- Create the list and confirm it appears in the list panel.
The number of lists is limited by your plan. If creation fails, check that limit before trying repeatedly. Later, use the list menu to edit its name, description and emoji, or click the heading to rename it.
Add leads manually
Select a list and use Add lead to insert a blank row. Drag the control down to add several rows. Choose the platform, then enter the account’s handle. Supported platforms include Threads, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Completed rows attempt to save automatically. Wait for confirmation and address any error; an unfinished row is not a saved lead. A handle is different from a display name, so verify the social account you enter.
Add leads from existing work
| Source | Where to act |
|---|---|
| Post comments | In comment management, select your own Threads, Instagram or Facebook post. Use its lead-list action, choose or create a destination list, and decide whether to include replies beneath comments. |
| Topic tracking results | Open the add-to-list action on a result, select a list and add a reason if useful. |
| Reply history | Select the records to include, then use the import-to-list action. |
| Comment automation | Select a lead list in automatic-reply settings and save, so subsequent interactions handled by that workflow can be captured. |
Import and capture permissions are separate from the maximum number of lists. Comment imports run as background jobs: queued or running does not mean complete. Review partial failures before deciding what to retry. Cancelling a job does not remove leads already imported.
Importing commenters creates or updates lead entries; it does not download a file of comment text. Several interactions from the same account may be consolidated, so lead count need not match comment count. Setting up future automation also does not backfill every past comment.
Organize statuses, scores and notes
Open a lead to inspect its details, sources and activity history. Edit the display name, score, status or notes using the available fields, and wait for the save result. Scores can be zero or positive integers. They help with prioritization, not predicting a guaranteed purchase.
Built-in statuses include New, Qualified, Ignored and Converted. Update them to reflect your actual follow-up progress. Marking someone Converted is your classification; it does not place an order or verify payment.
In Preferences, you can adjust:
- Displayed columns: show, hide and reorder existing columns such as lead, original post, score, status, source and notes.
- Status chips: names, colors, order and default status, including new labels. A status used by existing leads cannot be deleted until those leads use another status.
Choose Save preferences after making changes. Hiding a column changes presentation; it does not delete its data.
Check access before sharing
A public link is not read-only. Anyone with the link can open the public page without signing in and change lead statuses. Visible notes, reasons for inclusion and original posts can also appear in the shared view.
Under Preferences → Sharing, enable the public link and save, then copy or open it to review the contents. The status column remains visible on the public page. Check columns and notes before sharing with collaborators.
To stop access, disable the public link and save. The existing link will no longer work, but this cannot take back information someone already viewed or copied.
Download CSV or remove data
Open a populated list and choose Export to download CSV. It exports the currently loaded entries in that list. Selecting a few leads does not limit the export to those leads, and visible-column preferences do not change the CSV columns.
The CSV currently contains fixed fields for platforms, handles, identifiers, display names, scores, statuses and last-seen times. Notes, reasons, original posts and the full activity history are excluded. Do not treat it as a complete backup.
Delete a single lead or use selection mode to delete several. To delete the whole list, use its menu; this permanently removes the list and its entries. If it remains linked to automation projects, remove those links in the relevant settings first. Deleting a lead-list entry does not delete the social account or its comments.
