Automation Overview
Check Topic Tracking and comment automation status, find replies awaiting review, and edit, pause or resume projects.
Automation Overview brings Topic Tracking and post-comment automation together so you can check status, change settings or pause a project. Open the relevant feature to read search results, review replies or configure DMs.
For example, after a promotion ends, you can pause its comment automation while keeping other tracking projects running. Check the project name and connected account before acting.
Find the project
Open Automation Overview and choose “All”, “Patrol” or “Reply”. Patrol finds other people’s posts; reply automation handles comments on your own posts.
The list shows project names, accounts and status, grouped by platform. Instagram and Facebook currently share the section labelled Instagram. Check each row’s account and platform icon to tell them apart.
Some FireArc-managed tracking projects appear in account-based FireArc groups. Select the group row or expand button to see its projects. Other tracking and comment automations can appear as individual rows.
Read status and statistics
“Running” means the project is not paused. It does not guarantee that a reply is being sent now or that no errors exist. A project in Manual Review mode can also be running.
| Information | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Today, such as 3 / 10 | Three replies today against a configured daily limit of ten. The limit is not a guaranteed total. Comment automation may show only today’s count. |
| Total replies | Currently available project reply statistics, excluding unsent drafts. |
| Views and likes | Performance of the project’s replies, not all posts on the account or a measure of sales. |
| Keywords and reply summary | Help identify an Instagram or Facebook automation. Open settings to check the full content. |
“5-Day” metrics aggregate the measurement period after each reply was published. They are not all account activity during the last five calendar days. Data loads and updates in stages; a zero just after opening the page may not mean there is no execution history.
The top Total Replies, Total Views and Total Likes cards currently aggregate loaded project data even when you filter by Patrol or Reply. Use individual project rows to compare one type.
Open pending reviews or edit settings
If a project shows “Manual Review” with a “Review” count, select it to open Reply History. Check the account and project there before reviewing, editing or handling drafts. The mode badge displays a setting; open project settings to change it.
The pencil button behaves differently by project type:
- Topic Tracking: opens the project editor. Change the search direction, reply conditions or automation settings, then update the project.
- Comment automation: opens Post Management. Select the project’s account and post, then open its auto-reply settings. The page does not select that post for you.
Draft, scheduled and sent are different states. Check Reply History or the result on the post to confirm delivery, rather than relying on the project’s running status.
Pause and resume
Use the pause icon on a project row to pause that project and keep its settings. Pausing does not retract comments or DMs already sent. Check scheduled replies separately; do not assume pausing cancelled every scheduled item.
The play icon on a paused project opens its settings: the editor for tracking projects, or Post Management for comment automation. Check the mode, content and feature access, then enable and save. Clicking play alone does not resume it.
The FireArc group play button currently changes the projects it resumes to Auto Send without opening their settings individually. To preserve Manual Review or tracking without comments, expand the group and resume each project through its settings.
The group pause button pauses running projects in that group. To pause just one, expand it and use the individual row. If a group operation fails, reload and inspect each status; some projects may already have updated.
Create or delete a project
“Create Agent” opens the Topic Tracking creation flow. If the button is hidden on a small screen, open Topic Tracking to add a project. To create comment automation, select an account and post in Post Management and open auto-reply settings.
The trash button deletes the whole project. Pause a temporary campaign if you want to keep its settings for later. When deleting, check the project name and account before confirming. This page has no restore action, and deleting a project does not retract content already sent.
When a project is missing or inactive
Switch back to “All”, expand FireArc groups and check other accounts. X tracking projects are not currently listed in this overview; find them in Topic Tracking. A missing row does not prove the project was deleted.
If a project is running but produces no replies, check the account connection, mode, daily limit, credits and feature access, then check whether any posts or comments match its conditions. Manual Review requires you to handle drafts; tracking without comments does not send replies.
For support, provide the project name, account, time, actions taken and error message. Do not switch to Auto Send just to make the numbers increase.
